Today the 2nd phase of the Fire Fighting Training started at Special Task Force Battalion of APF (Armed Police Force) in Halchowk, the training will go on from 11th February till 8th March 2013. This training is supported by UNDP/ CDRMP and builds on the 1st phase from October 2012 where personnel were given basic fire services training.
3 trainers from Devon’s and Somerset from UK will be the master trainers and 8 personals who received training in the 1st batch (recommended as trainers) will be also be the trainers for the new 45 participants. This will be basic fire- fighting training for 45 new participants and for ToT for the 8 personals from the 1st batch.
