Nepali Masculinities & Gender-Based Violence
Masculinity studies, holds that masculinities like femininities is a social construct. There is no universal model of masculinities; rather, there are multiple masculinities shaped by a variety of factors including class, ethnicity, institutional and political location, and patterns of consumption (Kimmel, 2008, Connell, 1995, Benjamin 2001 and Broom 2004).
