This report presents the results of the MDG Needs Assessment and Costing Exercise for Nepal conducted under the guidance and initiatives of the National Planning Commission (NPC) with technical support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It presents in detail the national requirements in terms of financial, human and institutional resources to meet the MDGs in Nepal by 2015. The costing exercise was designed to be inclusive and participatory. Nine thematic working groups (TWGs), representing more than50 agencies, were involved directly in the process of preparing this report.
